Take a stroll to ozone beach Our luxury double story home is an ideal venue for your next get away. Ideal for up to 3 families but can easily accommodate 4, a corporate retreat or a wedding group. Upstairs - King master suite with luxury ensuite & soaker tub, study nook, powder room, theatre room, open plan gourmet kitchen with nespresso coffee machine, lounge with gas fireplace and comfy sofas, opening onto upstairs terrace with sofas and BBQ overlooking the backyard and rear farm, heirloom french provincial dining suite seats 8. Downstairs - Queen guest suite with WIR and ensuite, 2 kids bedrooms with 2 x KS beds plus trundles (can be converted to family suites on request) Double bedroom with BIR, Entertainment room, board games, comfy sofas, big screen games and movies, including Netflix. Laundry with washer/dryer, clothes horse, ironing board and iron. Alfesco deck with outdoor dining leading onto rear lawn, fire pit and amazing luxury swim spa (kept cool). We are able to provide a port-a-cot & high chair on request. Boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, are all available for use on request at no charge. We have a video tour on our FB socials page. Please note - due to current COVID restrictions guest limits apply/ Please refer to the DHHS website for all relevant info for your proposed dates. The whole home is at your disposal, except the garage. There are basic pantry supplies available for your convenience. Swim spa and fire pit is available by special request only. Please make contact with your host via phone call at least 48 hours prior to your stay. Once you have called and spoken to your host, you will be given instructions on accessing the property. Feel free to contact us via phone at your convenience should the need arise during the hours of 7.30am and 10pm. We may be available to greet you depending on the day of your booking. Indented Head beach, including Ozone wreck is only a few minutes walk away. Local cafes, restaurants, take away and supermarkets at nearby Portarlington or Saint Leonards. Head to Queenscliff for a stroll around. World class wineries close by. Local festivals in the region such as the mussel festival, celtic festival etc. There are lots of local golf courses, bike riding trails and walks. Surf beaches only 30 mins away at Ocean Grove, Torquay or Point Lonsdale. Drive the Great Ocean Road, to see the 12 apostles. Tennis Courts, pier fishing, boat and watercraft hire, and playgrounds on the local foreshores. Victorias largest waterpark close by in Wallington. Indented Head was the landing place of Sir John Batman, when Melbourne was first settled. It was named for it's shape when mapped, which resembles that of an Indented Head. To get to Indented Head you have several options: Take the Portarlington Road from Geelong (stop at the Bakery!!) then head along the coast road to Indented Head. Take the ferry from Victoria Dock, to Portarlington, then cycle, take a bus, Uber or taxi to Indented Head. Take the car from Sorrento on the ferry across the heads to Queenscliff, then drive through the farmlands to Indented Head. We have a detailed house manual & house rules which explains everything you need to know to enjoy your stay. Please read this thoroughly, there are specific instructions in there for you to follow to confirm you have read it carefully. Avila is not a hotel, it is our family holiday home. Please respect our wishes and our property as such. Please take special care of the dining table, it is a family heirloom, and requires careful protection from heat and liquid. Our home has a security camera with a view of the hallway. If you have any concerns please speak to your host. Use of the swim spa is by special request and at your own risk. Children must be actively supervised at all times - it is 120cm deep and has strong jets. Please no babies or children who are not toilet trained in the spa. Spa is to be used for swimming and relaxing only. You get our meaning!!! Please do not change the filter or heat settings - it is kept at pool temperature (not hot). An additional fee of $80 is charged to cover chemical clean treatment of the spa. The house is provided with white luxury Sheridan towels. Please do not use these to mop up spills, as beach / pool towels, or to take off makeup. We have provided some makeup remover wipes for your convenience if you forget your own. All kids beds come with waterproof mattress protectors and white sheets. Please be sure to launder any accidents immediately. Please bring your own beach towels.
