A perfect base for your holiday adventures. The immediate local area is the "Harbour Village" suburb of Goodwick, quiet and largely residential but with good access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the small town of Goodwick with shops and amenities. Goodwick and Fishguard are historic but down-to-earth service towns for North Pembrokeshire. Whilst they might lack Tenby's beauty they make up for it in the ease of access to local amenities, plentiful and easy parking, a train service to England, ferry access to Ireland and the great beauty of the surrounding landscape. The northern half of Pembrokeshire (roughly from Solva up to Newport) is arguably the most spectacular section. Almost all of the true "jaw-dropper" coastal walks are in this region. The dramatic lighthouse of Strumble Head is a short drive west, and the walks and hidden beaches of the coast around Dinas also very close. For those that know Pembrokshire well Fishguard and Goodwick make for a savvy pick to base yourself. We can be contacted by phone and email at all times. At the bottom of the hill in Goodwick you can find a local chemist, post office, and the best hairdressers around! In Fishguard, you can find many more local shops, and the farmers market, cinema, delicatessen, an the award-winning fish and chip shop.
