This is a cozy and romantic guest room with a wood burning stove. There is complimentary tea, coffee, milk, bread, ham and cheese for you on arrival. You may even help yourself to a complimentary dram. Set in the heart of Speyside on the Whisky Trail and Speyside Way this quaint cozy hamlet is the ideal place for a get away. The cottage is historic and is part of a row of cottages that were once home to workers of Dailuaine distillery. Whether you are visiting for the whisky, fishing, shooting or walking we will be able to cater for your needs and we're sure you'll have a lovely stay. There is free WiFi, TV and other entertainment available. Free private parking and private entrance. Most of the neighboring distilleries host tours if you're visiting for the whisky including the famous Glenfiddich and Macallan. There are numerous walks and hikes . The Caingorms are just a 45 minute drive away with snow sports and water sports available when in season. If you head north 30 minutes you will find beautiful sandy beaches and if you're lucky see dolphins and seals. Tours and taxi services can be arranged when available. There is bicycle hire at the property which is located just off the Speyside Way 2 miles away from Aberlour. There you will find local amenities and bus service to the nearest city of Elgin.
