Salterns Loft - spacious waterside apartment

Salterns Loft is a first-floor new-build equipped to a high standard. It is accessed through a separate entrance and up a spiral staircase. The large open-plan living area has a fully fitted kitchen and bi-fold doors opening onto a Juliet Balcony with great views over the garden to the Harbour, Tournerbury Woods and the South Downs beyond. Extensive gardens lead to the Harbour.The airy bedroom has a king-size bed with Otty mattress and en-suite bathroom featuring walk-in shower and double sink. We offer you use of the Gym, the garden, gas-fired barbeque, firepit, the Gin&Tonic Bench, outside hoses, drying facilities, outside furniture. Direct access to Chichester Harbour is at the bottom of the garden. You can park on the drive and there is a secure garage for storage of boating equipment, cycles and motorbikes. The whole Apartment is yours for the duration of your stay with us .We share the gardens and outside facilities. We like to travel and meet new people but are always pleased to come home to our very special place. We will be delighted to share it with you. In normal times we would plan to greet all our guests on their arrival and make them feel at home. If you would prefer to self-check in and isolate, please let us know. We have written a guide to the area, but will be happy to talk through how you plan to use your stay. Hayling Island is an unusual place with many hidden gems. Our part of Chichester Harbour, called My Lord's Pond, is one. The serenity is very special. There is scope for walking, cycling, canoeing, paddle-boarding, surfing, swimming, windsurfing, kite-surfing, motor-boating and sailing. 10 minutes walk to the seafront, 2 minutes to Harbour-side paths, 10 minutes to the local shops & restaurants. Buses from Havant every 15 minutes, which is 80 minutes from Waterloo, London. The connecting door to the main house is kept locked, for your extra security and privacy and we will avoid using the internal door to the garage when guests are in residence. During the period of Covid 19 restrictions we would like to advise guests: 1. We will only offer a self-catering facility 2. We will adhere to Airbnb enhanced cleaning protocol 3. We will leave clear days between bookings 4. We request that guests put used towels, bed linen, bath robes and tea towels into the laundry bags provided before departure.
