"The Dover Garden" - 1 bed/sleeps 4/secure carpark

Our renovated unit with outdoor sitting area and barbie will give you a true Aussie backyard living experience in suburban Adelaide! It is close to the beach and amenities, with good access to public transport and located on a quiet street. This is a 50 square metre apartment in our back yard behind the main house. It's a completely separate building so you have plenty of privacy. It can comfortably accommodate a couple or can sleep a family (with a bit less living space). There is an open plan dining, kitchen and study area with sofa that can be unfolded to queen size bed. In the bedroom, there's queen bed and an option to set up a single folding bed. There is a bathroom with a basin, toilet and shower. Guests have their own outdoor undercover sitting area and a BBQ area. Please refer to the check-in instructions. Guests have their own access via the driveway and garage. Our storage shed is under the same roof and has a separate entrance. We're available via Airbnb messages and are happy to assist you to resolve any issues but we don't live in Adelaide at the moment. We love the location of our neighbourhood - right between the beach and the shopping centre. We're also on a small street so there's very little traffic passing by. But this is an average suburb in Adelaide (not a tourist location) so going to the shopping mall or beach will require a walk or a short drive. It's about 30 minutes drive from the airport and the centre of the city. It's 3 minutes drive to the beach and 2 minutes drive to the largest shopping mall in South Australia. McLaren Vale wine region is only a 30-minute drive away. There's a public bus stop very close that goes to Marion Shopping Centre and a train station that goes to the city. But be careful when planning your time in Adelaide - generally, we recommend hiring a car if you intend to travel around. If early checkin is available, you will receive a message a day ahead of arrival. If you need the space accessible for a wheelchair, we rearrange the layout slightly from the photos. We have a ramp for the sliding door and use that as the main entrance, rearranging furniture slightly to accomodate. Just let us know so we can prepare. To enforce distancing for COVID-19, we have restricted access to certain parts of the garden. We kindly ask that guests stay within their designated areas. We are able to support level 4 entry requirements for SA (full 14-day isolation). Please check your entry requirements prior to travel on the SA Health website, and follow the local restrictions during your stay.
