Our beautiful 1 bedroom studio is suitable for 2 people as it has 1 double bed only. It has a garden setting with a private entrance & patio, large bathroom with clawfoot bath, separate shower and separate toilet. Located on a private street, yet walking distance to Puffing Billy, shops, bars, restaurants and train station. If you have a larger group we have a cottage as well. Private patio, entrance, full bathroom and separate toilet. Located in Belgrave, Dandenong Ranges. Suitable for 2 people maximum. Walking distance to Puffing Billy and Belgrave station. One hour by train or car from Melbourne's Southern Cross station. Break free of the busy city for a few days and visit this relaxing peaceful area. Once here, the main attraction is Puffing Billy Steam Train which chugs along several times a day through fern gullies and massive mountain ash trees. Lots of walks through the forest where in the early hours you could spot a lyrebird, echidna or wombat. We have a Trees Adventure Park nearby for those that like to brave ziplining! You will be minutes from Belgrave village and a short drive or bus trip to Sassafras and Olinda. All have unique shops and top restaurants. This room is part of our main house and is completely private, with it's own entrance and patio. The bathroom has a clawfoot bath, separate shower and separate toilet. The bedroom has a comfy double bed, flat screen TV/DVD, table with 2 cane chairs, small fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and kitchen hutch. Please note that the room is narrow with no room for a lounge/sofa. Check photos closely. Heating, air con and electric blanket for your comfort. Free WIFI internet and use of the laundry for a small charge. Parking is on the street and very safe. I have an active interest in the area having lived here for 12 yrs and will gladly help you with information on restaurants and things to do in our beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Simple continental breakfast is included. Please contact me for a price if you prefer no breakfast provisions.There are many local restaurants within walking distance that offer a large breakfast selection. Belgrave train station is walking distance and local buses will get you up and around the mountain if you are without a car. Looking forward to meeting you!! Very happy to interact or to leave you in complete privacy. We live in a very lush area here in the Dandenong Ranges. Native birds are part of the setting and they'll visit your patio most days. Puffing Billy, Trees Adventure Park and Grant's Picnic ground are walking distance ... but maybe take a 5 minute drive there. Short drives also to Burnham Piggery, Kallista, Sassafras and Olinda. Lots of amazing hikes and drives through mountain ash and fern forests. We are very lucky at our location. At the Belgrave train station there are many buses that will take you anywhere you'd like to go. And it's 1 hour by train into the city of Melbourne. Small fridge, microwave, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, toiletries and WIFI. Although we have ducted heating that will reach your room, you also have a split system A/C so you can control the temperature in winter or summer. Electric blanket included also.
