La Tour de Bassy is a 12th Century Priory turned silent haven get-away. Located in a small village in Southern Burgundy , the property was previously home to the monks of Cluny. The rental property includes: - The « chapel », which dates back from the 12th century. 1 adjacent bedroom, accommodates 2 people, private bathroom. - The « winemaker’s house « house », built in the 18th century. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. - The « pigeon tower », or "Lover's Tower" built in the 15th century. 1 bedroom with private bathroom. The house and its surroundings are not suited for children, and no reservation will be accepted if your party includes children. Thank you. The rental property includes 6 bedrooms, (each with its own bathroom), a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, washer and dryer, swimming pool (11m x 4 m), a secluded back and front garden, and fruit trees. The property can accommodate up to 6 cars. Provide guests with information on available activities, help with any inquiries, option of travel arrangements. La Tour de Bassy is located in a small village in the south of Burgundy. It is the ideal place to relax, read, listen to music, take walks, bicycle rides, enjoy local markets and restaurants, and discover the treasures of roman architecture. The property is located in the middle of the Macon vineyards, making it a wine lover's paradise! La Tour de Bassy is located 20 minutes away from the Macon-Loché TGV train station. Direct trains (1h40m) to Paris are available everyday. The property is 2 hours away from the Geneva airport. Wi-fi connection is sometimes weaker in some of the rooms but works very well in the Chapel. Sheets and towels are available in every room and bathroom.
