Enjoy this beautifully crafted 4 season cottage that can sleep 8. Walkout on your private dock and enjoy beautiful sunsets casting over the lake. Relax in the screened in porch or on the second floor terrace and create lasting memories with family and friends. This unique log cabin cottage has a cozy family room with gas fireplace, large kitchen with dining table and breakfast bar. The master bedroom with a queen bed is located on the main floor with direct access to main washroom. The spacious second floor loft is an open concept layout with one king bed and two queen size beds. The second floor has direct access to the outdoor terrace which has a stunning view of Mississippi Lake. There is a small desk also provided on second floor. Full complete kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. There is also an outdoor BBQ with propane tank (included). Enjoy your evening in a screened in porch with day bed or toasting marshmallows by the camp fire. This cottage has its own private dock for access to Mississippi Lake. The family room is equipped with wifi, Amazon Firestick TV with Netflix access. You will have access to your own historic log cabin cottage and private waterfront access to Mississippi Lake. There is an E-Grocery pick up location in close proximity to the property as well as a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. (Closed on Monday) Live bands on Saturday from 1-8pm We give our guests space to relax and enjoy but if needed my husband Sadiq or I can be available. We live a 2 min drive away from the Cottage Carleton Place is a small town feel with all the major amenities at your fingertips. A quick 10 min drive you have access to Walmart, Independent, LCBO, Beer Store, Cannabis Store, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, A&W, Dairy Queen, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, local restaurants and gas stations. There are local walking trails, public parks and beach access. You can bring your ATV, side by side bicycles as the Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail (OVRT) is 2km away which connects neighbouring towns. For winter enthusiast access to snowmobile trails is directly off the property. You will need a car to get here but once you have arrived, you can unwind and relax. With on site grocery store and restaurant, you have what you need at your finger tips to enhance your cottage experience. Canoes, kayaks and water bikes for additional charge. SUP - Stand Up Paddle board rental and classes available on site. Boating or Fishing Excursions via "Airbnb Experience" are available upon request. A public boat launch is available for water enthusiasts. Firewood is available on site for $10/night
