Old Lan Farmhouse was re-built in 2004 retaining many of its original features. The internal woodwork is all oak including the large staircase and the internal doors and many of the original oak beams from the farmhouse have been incorporated into the property for that traditional feel. There are exposed stone walls, log burning stoves, victorian style cast iron radiators and all the traditional features of a period farmhouse but with modern quality and design for comfort and style. The main farmhouse is yours exclusively during your stay and you also have access to your own private patio and hot tub area with BBQ facilities. The local market town of Narberth, famous for its annual food festival, is approximately 10-minute drive away and caters well for guests with several good restaurants, pubs, antique shops and independent boutiques. There’s also a great range of local shops including a butcher, greengrocer, bakery, a choice of small supermarkets and a fabulous delicatessen - ‘Ultracomedia’ where Spain meets wales! The intimate restaurant in the back room is where the magic happens, and you get to taste an array of wonderful tapas dishes. Take the opportunity to stroll through the local vineyard Cwm Deri at Martletwy or perhaps indulge in some wine tasting whilst you soak up the splendour and enjoy some of the nearby woodland walks.
