This beautiful little apartment with lovely views across the water is located in Christchurch's premium beach side suburb Sumner. With only a three minute walk to the beach this is a perfect place to start your day with a surf, a swim or a stroll along the water. There are plenty of walking and mountain bike tracks right from your door step. A variety of lovely cafes and dining options are all within a few minute walk with lots of opportunities to eat, enjoy a coffee or get takeaway. The apartment is set in the lower level of a newly built two storey house nestled into a lush and bushy hill side. It features a cosy bedroom, a beautiful decorated living room - both with amazing views across Sumner Beach - and a private bathroom with a shower over bath. The hallway leads to an expansive decking area where you can sit outside and relax with a glass of wine, take in the view and listen to the birds and the waves. The apartment has its own private entrance. It perfectly suits a travelling couple, 2-3 travelling friends or a family with 1 kid (6 years or older). A public footpath will take you from the road (where you can park your car for free) up the hill to the apartment. The footpath can be steep in places and moderate fitness is required for this 1-2 minute walk. While a few kitchen amenities are provided such as microwave, toaster and jug there is not full kitchen with cooking facilities. Guests are able to use the entire apartment as well as the entire deck that can be accessed from the apartment. Sumner is famous for its beautiful beach, lovely village center and family friendly community. It offers plenty of opportunity to be active or just relax and unwind. It is truly a holiday destination. Sumner is approx. 13 km from Christchurch City Center and 25 km from Christchurch International Airport. There is a public bus line that connect the airport with the city center and Sumner.
