The Sexton's Cottage, Unique & charming
The Sexton's cottage has been newly restored to a high standard, bringing the charm of the original cottage with that of modern day living. Light and airy living, dining and kitchen area upstairs, with a double bedroom and Shower room downstairs. The cottage has a large south facing garden with a dining area under a pergola, along with a BBQ and a raised decking area ideal for your morning cup of tea. Sturminster Newton is well positioned to explore Dorset and Somerset. The Sexton's Cottage is down a quiet road, which is a no-through lane...which only leads to the few cottages that are situated here or the church...beyond this point there is only a farm, fields and the River Stour. Sturminster Newton is an old Market town, a few minutes walk from the cottage you will find the heart of the town...Pubs, restaurants, bakery, butcher, Deli, florists and a supermarket.... The Cottage is set within a charming conservation area. Penny Street is a quiet lane, it is a dead end road with fields, a farm and the River Stour beyond. Parking outside the cottage is good for short-term unloading and loading up - but not for long term parking. There is 'Free' parking' on Penny Street, if unavailable there is a little cheap car park at the top of the road, which if needed we would reimburse you for.
