The Mallards

The apartment is attached to our house and has previously been used as a living-space for my sons, who have left home. We have updated the space since and would welcome guests of up to five people. The accommodation includes a bedroom with a double and single bed and a living area with a king-size sofa bed (real mattress). The bathroom( W.C. and shower) is accessed through the bedroom. The kitchen area includes a fridge and cooking facilities. You will have access to the whole apartment and if the weather is nice our wild garden. We will be able to meet, greet and get to know our guests and offer any help they need, particularly information on the surrounding area. Mary is willing to drop and collect guests to and from Kinvara if they want to try out the nightlife if she's at home. We're on the Wild Atlantic Way about a mile away from Kinvara Village, 5min drive, 20min walk. Travelling by car is the most ideal way to visit Kinvara and the surrounds as many of the local scenic spots are not accessible by public transport. There are regular buses from Kinvara and nearby villages to places such as Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, Limerick and Cork. Kinvara is a good central base for exploring Galway and North Clare. We have one outdoor cat, Piscín, she isn't allowed inside.
