Peaceful Double overlooking Garden in 4 bed Home

See my other ads * The gorgeous peaceful double room in my homely home overlooks the garden at the back of the house and is conveniently located next to the main bathroom. We are 10 mins walk to hither green or Lewisham train station which is only 10mins ride to central London - London Bridge / Waterloo / Charing Cross Please note sometimes dogs may be visiting the house A homely and cosy 4 bedroom house which is my home so has a warm and welcoming feel to it (rather than a money making Airbnb set up !). Lots of space to rest and relax in :) We have a wonderful big garden and an actual real fire fireplace ! Yes FIRE ! Garden, communal bathroom *With the present situation I currently have a reduced price for my listing as I have provided tea making facilities in the room and would very much appreciate if you could avoid other communal areas such as kitchen and garden. Would also appreciate if we can maintain social distancing of 2M as much as possible and wear a mask. I hope you are comfortable with this :) Thank you for your understanding!* A friendly and safe residential area close to parks and green spaces with easy access to shopping for food and high street shops. There is also a lovely walk to Blackheath which has more boutique shops and lovely deli's and cafes, restaurants and bars to delight in. Greenwhich is a little further along with a host of more eateries and amazing shops and market with great world food stalls and hand made goods & unique gifts from artist, jewellery makers and craftspeople. Stunning views across London from Greenwich park or a beautiful stroll along the river Thames from the famous Cutty Sark. The Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory can also be found here for family days out.... You can even catch a boat ride along the river! (URL HIDDEN) Transport Hither Green station & Lewisham station - 10-15min walk or for Lewisham its a short bus ride bus from the Lee high road (turn right out of house to find the main road with bus top on the right) to Lewisham, but generally I find it easier & usually quicker to walk. Both stations will take you into central London , either to London Bridge, Charing cross, Waterloo, Canning Town or for DLR this is only from Lewisham stn (to Canary Wharf etc). Its a 10min ride on the train to London Bridge or 15mins to Charing Cross. Parking permit can be provided for guests if required please ask Welcome ! So here are a few pointers for the house so you can find your way around easy & feel at home.... (there is also some info for arrival steps on Airbnb) Wifi password can be found on shelf in the entrance hall. There is a picture of it on Airbnb, its a little white box thing, with password on the back ;) House Guide Please treat this home with care and respect and show kindness and courtesy to all those you share the home with. 1 *Please remove shoes on entering the house and leave on shoe rack behind the door* We ask that you kindly keep shoes here in the area next to the front door (or in your bag) and refrain from wearing them in the house or placing them on the carpet in your room. 2 This is a *No Smoking* house so if you need to smoke please do so outside the house and use a container to put ash in rather than on the floor. 3 Please help yourself to tea or coffee found in the cupboard on the right above the kettle. Please only eat in the kitchen, no food in bedrooms. There is a coaster in your room for you to put a cup on for drinks. 4 If you wish to have an extra guest stay in your room please discuss with host first 5 Your Room ~ the garden room is at the top of the stairs straight ahead :) There is a black out blind that can be pulled down if you need it dark. Drawer space is available for you, please make yourself at home. If you need space to hang clothes please ask and this can be arranged. The radiator is adjustable on the left side, numbered with higher number making it hotter. To be conscious of the environment & conserve energy we ask that you kindly turn radiator to lowest setting (show by a '*') when you are not using the room. General House info Cleaning :- We like to keep the place clean and tidy so we can all enjoy the space together and this means giving the surfaces in the kitchen a quick wipe clean after using, washing any dishes you've used or putting away in the dishwasher. Generally making sure the kitchen is left as found (including oven, surfaces & sink areas). If you notice the dishwasher is full it'd be much appreciated if you could put it on to wash. The same goes for the bathroom , wiping round the bath/shower/sink area after use so its left clean for others. Leaving the toilet area clean & seat down after use etc. Important Kitchen Info :- *Please note :- There is a join in the worktop next to the sink on the left side which is a little damaged by water and needs some attention. Please make sure this area is kept dry so the damage is minimised. Always dry worktop with a tea towel after using the sink please. There is a space for you to keep food on a shelf labeled for guests. This can be found on the fathest left side of the kitchen when you look towards the back door. Pull up there silver coloured shutter and the shelf is behind it! You are welcome to use the iron or ironing board located in area behind the kitchen door. *Rubbish -Normal bin is to left of sink under the drawer -Food waste is in little grey bin -Recycling waste is put in canvas bags hanging behind kitchen door (for paper, glass, cardboard, tins, metal, recyclable plastics) Important Bathroom Info :- * Please open window when having a shower or bath so the room can be ventilated to prevent damp. Please leave window open for @30-60mins or so after use. * Please dry floor next to bath after using bath/shower There is a space for you to keep toiletries on the shelf or in the cabinet, please feel free to use. Local Info :- Shops There is a Sainsbury's local next to Hither Green train station, A lidl 5 mins walk from the house - turn right out of the front door the left onto main road & walk 5mins. The is a big Sainsbury's in the opposite direction along the main rd (Lee high rd) about 10-15 mins walk from the house. You can also find a huge market with cheap fruit and veg & other food & goods & lots of shops on the way to Lewisham station on the left in the pedestrian area. This is about 10mins walk from the house in same direction as Lidl. If you'd like to know some recommendations for cafes and restaurants locally I can also provide! I think thats about everything....
