Guests have their own entrance to the bedroom in the basement through the ground floor where the pool and gym are located. Guests have their own riverfront garden. The top floor is occupied by the owners and can not be accessed by guests. The pool is common to all guests in the house. The villa manager will attend to guests throughout their stay. There will be a caretaker/cook on site to attend the guests at all times. Located in a quiet, residential area just 10 mins drive to the Kandy city center and a walking distance to Hotel Cinnamon Citadel. You’ll love our place because of the tranquil location, homey ambiance and outstanding hospitality There’s a good network of local buses in the city. They provide the most cost effective mode of transportation within the city. Cabs are a bit expensive compared to bus service, but they offer a comfortable and hassle free mode of transportation. Cabs are readily available anywhere in the city. You just need to call the hotline number, give the address, and the cab will come pick you up. There are many cab operators in the city. Auto rickshaws or tuk tuks are a common sight in the city. They are easily available all around the city. If you decide to take an auto rickshaw, make sure to bargain the price before taking them. The villa butler could call a Tuktuk anytime guests want to go outside. ANIMAL FRIENDLY PROPERTY. We do have 4 friendly clean dogs and a little pig at the property on the top floor. Note that the dogs tend to go down and say hi to the guests sometimes. Important- Drivers accommodation is not provided. Drivers and guides are not allowed inside the villa (drop off only) My manager can suggest a cheap place nearby for them to stay, so they can be close to you Vehicles can be inside the property for loading/unloading purposes only. Parking or waiting could be outside the gate. The villa is located near the river and is surrounded by beautiful nature, so on some occasions and despite our best efforts, a stray bug, spider or other nature-loving creatures may wander inside, especially if a door or window is left open. Please note they are harmless and the caretaker is available anytime to help you get rid of them.
