Beautiful hay barn, converted into a spacious 900 square foot apartment, fully furnished with living room, kitchen, bathroom, shower, bedroom and private terrace Ganzert is a small hamlet, in central Betuwe, Holland's main fruit producing region within the Gelderland province. The Betuwe is known for an abundance of blooming cherry and apple trees in spring. Ganzert is situated on the Rhine River, very quiet and serene with an air of the Dutch landscape paintings of the 17th century with dikes and windmills. Located on the small estate of Cornucopia Cottage is, besides the hay barn, a thatched roof farmhouse built and 1890 and ecologically and sustainably restored in 2011. We grow our fruit and vegetables fresh and organic, year round. Our guests are invited to our table d'hote for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is not included but can be served on request. Arnold has been a chef and restaurant owner. Naomi is an US expat, teacher and writer. Ganzert is in close biking distance to picturesque medieval cities. The nearest highway is 10 minutes driving distance and an hour from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. The world famous Kroller-Muller museum in the charming town of Otterlo with the second largest worldwide van Gogh collection is also located in Gelderland. Children accompanied by parents only pay € 5,00/night We love to welcome our guests to join us at our table d'hote/guesttable to enjoy a 5 course meal with produce from our organic garden.
