The apartment is the 3rd floor of a beautiful 1920's ceramic block home with a mansard roof. The bottom two floors are used as a B&B. The home is 3 blocks from Chautauqua Lake and 3 miles from the Chautauqua Institution, a famous community since 1894 that fosters the arts, education and entertainment. We are also close to the Lake Erie Wine Trail, and several well known micro-breweries. Plenty of yard and porch space. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment is large enough for four people to cook, eat, sleep, and play. Everything is provided -- linens, cooking utensils, dishes, spices, etc. The entire apartment is yours. Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, drugstore, art studios, exercise facility, park, lakeside, floating stage for concerts, historical museum at the old Railroad Depot, and the Chautauqua Belle Steamboat. Drive to many attractions such as Chautauqua Institute, Lake Erie Wine Trail, National Comedy Center, and Lucille Ball Museum, among many others. Public transportation using CARTS (Chautauqua Area Regional Transit System), with a schedule of stops in various communities and places of interest nearby. This is a four season venue. Year round tastings at local wineries and breweries. Spring includes Memorial Day Weekend Garage Sales, the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail. Summer is busy with the 4th of July parade, the Chautauqua Institute schedule, the Chautauqua Pops concerts on the Floating Stage. Fall showcases spectacular foilage.
