Entire bright and sunny 3 bedroom house in Downer!

Three bedroom house in Downer - a 1960s brick original! The house is sunny & light & still retains some original features - such as a cool 1960s style kitchen! - but w/ modern amenities inc. dishwasher and a renovated bathroom. *** Given the recent terrible (and ongoing) Covid pandemic sweeping our world, we would like to assure you that we are are happy to book longer stays if necessary or desired. We would also like to let you know that although we were already OCD about cleaniness, we've now upped our game (like most people!). Therefore we can guarantee you that after every stay we will not only clean, but also disinfectant the entire house and all surfaces. We will do this wearing gloves ourselves. We will also keep a supply of hand-sanitiser in the house for guest use while staying. We also have contactless arrival and departure to the property in that you only have to retrieve a key we will have ready for you (and not see us). We will disinfect the key and place it in a baggy after every guest has left, ready for the next one. On another final, personal note, I had to 'self isolate' for two weeks after I was on a film set in Sydney (because I wanted to make sure I did not have anything I may give to my child). I do not and did not have anything, but I did self isolate in the house and as such I was the last person to stay in it. Please know, we are taking the pandemic incredibly seriously, despite the recent easing of restrictions. *** _____ Two bedrooms have comfy queen-sized beds ands built in wardrobes. There's also a single child's bedroom and an extra single mattress which we can pull out on the floor in the children's room, or move into the living area onto an ottoman which we can then corden off with a room divider for some privacy. This means the house can comfortably house 4 adults who each may wish for privacy - or six people if the queen beds have two people in each of them. We are happy to do make up either of these options for guests and have done successfully in the past. We also have a portacotty if you need it for a toddler or baby. House is in a quiet, leafy, suburban area but also very central and close to the Federal Highway heading to Sydney and Barton Highway heading to Melbourne. Also close to Dickson Shops, Civic and ANU. We have a super powered portable air-conditioner that can be used if the days get too hot (though the house is fairly well insulated) - just ask! There's central heating for winter. NB: There's usually a mainly outdoor cat here. We can close off his cat-door to prevent him entering but it's likely he'll stay next door anyway as he is so scared of strangers! Also please note, no other pets - I can't seem to amend the listing! Everything in the house is available for your use and we can also get whatever you may need in for you if needed. Just ask! Due to Covid, greeting is contactless. I contact the guest before arrival to let them know about entry etc. However, we arel be available throughout your visit if you need us - we are usually minutes away next door! Downer is one of the older suburbs of Canberra and very central. There's plenty of off street parking or you can park in the drive. Bus stops are very close by if you need to get to the City. Watson and Dickson shopping centres are also within easy walking distance. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions!
