Private garden studio with bathroom

A private studio-style room with its own bathroom in our backyard. You have a separate entrance and there is plenty of parking. Public transport is close-by. We leave you to your own devices but are very happy to give you all the advice you need. We've built a new guest room with its own bathroom in our backyard. It's private, quiet and has leafy views across to the Japanese maple. Our house is home for our family of four, but you have your own separate space. We live in a suburban area near the bush but are close to both the city, Chatswood and the business centre of North Ryde. Depending which direction you are heading we are 5 - 15 minute walk from buses to the city, Chatswood and North Ryde. We travel by either train or bus to the city, depending on exactly where we are going. The bus is a 15-20 minute ride into the city. When travelling by train we usually go from Chatswood station.There is plenty of parking in our street and we do have wi-fi. We're happy to give all the advice you need and share the backyard BBQ. There is a Thai takeaway close-by but guests without a car often do the 20 min walk to Lane Cove, where there is a big choice of restaurants. During the day there is a very good cafe open at the end of our street. Note that the window does now have venetian blinds - they weren't there when the photo was taken. There is no kitchen but you do have direct access to a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. We tend to leave guests to their own devices - they have a separate entrance and can come and go as they like. We are very happy to help and provide advice as required. I love the feeling of space, the trees and access to the bush; all within short distance from the city. The bus from half a block away takes just 16 minutes to get to the city, so you are very connected to a lot of the best things Sydney has to offer - including the harbour! Our place is also quiet, something I really appreciate. You will find it easy to park in our street but if you are you are travelling to the city, we recommend using public transport. The city bus stop is 2 minutes walk away, and the bus takes 16 minutes to get to the city.
