Quiet Home in Western Maine. Panoramic view of mountains. Private Driveway right off from Rt. 4/Rangeley Road. Close to snowmobile/ATV trails and not far from Rangeley Lakes and Sugarloaf Ski Resort. If hiking is your thing, Tumbledown and the Appalachian Trail are in short driving distance. Lots of lakes and rivers available for swimming, fishing, kayaking and more. 5 minutes from town where you have access to a grocery store and friendly neighborhood sandwich and pizza shops. There are 3 set up bedrooms and one bed set up on the balcony. There is a partially finished basement which has a washer and dryer available to guests. The views from our home are the beloved mountains of Western Maine...we encourage you to come and relax and recharge with this peaceful getaway. Come and stay with us and enjoy all Maine has to offer. In the winter you can sled, snowshoe, cross country ski as well as travel down the road to access snowmobile trails. Through the Spring, Summer and Fall, enjoy camping, the area lakes and ponds for fishing, swimming, kayaking, the hiking trails and more. We have our own things stored in the basement. We will have the basement rooms locked but the guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the back room. Someone will be available during your stay to help answer any questions or help with any further information needed to make your stay a memorable one. We are in the center of tourist attractions. Smalls Fall is up the road, Dummer's Beach and Mt. Blue State Park about 15-20 minutes away. Rangeley Lakes is about 20 miles away and Sugarloaf Ski Resort is about 45 minutes away. We are near snowmobile (no direct access, access is a little over a mile away in town) and ATV trails, Tumbledown and Appalachian Trails for hiking and nearby shopping and entertainment. There is something for everyone. You will need a car, or a bike to get around. It is very quiet in our area. In the winter there is sledding, skiing, snowmobiling. In the spring and summer we have fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking trails and other fun activities for you and your families.
