There is an expanded queen bed (160x200), two single XL beds (90x200), a toddler airbed and a crib. Urban Comfort is a beautiful newly renovated luxurious 111 sq. meter (1200 sq. feet) apartment conveniently located in the very heart of Mulhouse, in the city center’s pedestrian zone. It's walking score is 96 “walker’s paradise”, it really doesn’t get much better! A brand new luxurious organic supermarket is located on the ground floor of the apartment building with its entrance on the other side of the building. Urban Comfort is spacious, super clean, AIR CONDITIONED & very well equipped throughout. So travel light....I have you covered with all essentials in generous quantities. There is an entrance area with shoe storage & a full body mirror, followed by a well equipped desk area with possibility of a printer (on request only), then comes a large ULTRA HD 4 K TV & Gaming area, a large open plan kitchen with connected dining room and a living room. There are two bedrooms. There are sleeping choices for up to 4 adults, but there are also options to sleep one toddler (2-6+yrs) + 1 baby (0-3yrs) The following are extra sleeping possibilities which I can add to the apartment and which you can place anywhere you wish to match your needs: - A baby crib from the brand Babybjorn (ages 0-3) - A Toddler airbed from the brand "The Shrunks" (ages 2-6+) The apartment has one bathroom with a large gorgeous natural stone & mosaic rain + cascade ceiling shower, and separate toilets located near the entrance. The apartment gets a lot of light during the day & a very beautiful glow from the city lights at night. You have the option to roll down the blinds for total darkness in every room. The windows are soundproof glass and the apartment remains remarkably silent day & night. Those of you who travel for business or need a good space to work will enjoy a well equipped desk, a comfortable office chair & super high speed fiber internet & wifi. If you need the printer please ask when making the reservation. I have picked one of each of the guides, maps & papers from the tourism office and made those available to you in order to facilitate your visits. During your stay here, you are offered a FREE RESERVED PARKING in the secured private underground parking located beneath the building, with a direct elevator access. I will provide parking remotes & up to 3 sets of house keys. Simply walk out of the building and within a few steps are some of the city’s best shopping, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, parks, museums and public transportation. So whether you are coming with a car or not, you have easy access to everything Mulhouse and it’s surroundings have to offer. Business, solo, couples, families, children, & reduced mobility OK. My most important house rule is : No shoes in the house! Please respect this. I will remain very available throughout your stay to be of assistance if you wish. The apartment is connected to the building's front door by a video phone. Underground parking access remote controls are provided on request only. So if you need parking for a car, motorcycle or bicycle, make sure to let me know. Parking maximum height is 1m90. I work & live nearby and I will remain accessible for any inquiries you may have during your stay. If you would like I can also give you a 5-15 minute tour of the surroundings... If you do not speak French, I will gladly assist you with reservations or anything else you may need, all you have to do is ask :) The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor (w/ elevator) of a small residential building located in a quiet square of the city center’s pedestrian zone, 20 seconds walk from “La rue du Sauvage”, Mulhouse’s main pedestrian shopping street. The apartment’s walking score is 96 “Walker’s Paradise”, it really doesn’t get much better! Within a 2 minute walking radius you will find Starbucks & local cafes, bakeries, restaurants, 2 grocery stores, a gym, a dry cleaner, 3 pharmacies, multiple banks, a Church, bookshops, a wine & liquor store, a public indoor pool & bathhouse, H&M, Zara, Sephora, HEMA, Burton, Nature & Decouverte, La Grande Recre (huge toy store) and a large number of other international, national and local shops. And last but not least the central dispatch station for Mulhouse’s “Tram” public transportation system, from which you have access to all the locations it serves, is less than 2 minutes walk. Within a 5 minute walking radius you will find museums, parks and a cinema (w/ movies in French & English). 10 minutes walk to the train station. 5 minute car drive to the freeway entrance. 5 minutes drive to the Mulhouse Zoo. 5 minutes drive to the Schlumpf Car collection Museum or Citee de l'automobile. Come feel at home :) With Love, Delphine ----------------------------------------- ***DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS*** ----------------------------------------- PARKING: The parking is located right beneath the building, protected by two security automated doors. You have a reserved parking spot & I will provide the remote controls which open the security doors. The elevator takes you directly from the parking level to the apartment level, with only a few steps from the car to the elevator. If you bring a bicycle, or motorcycle, you can store it safely in the parking. Parking maximum height is 1.95 meters (all normal cars, most family vans & small utility vans are ok) INTERNET & WIFI: The apartment is wired to very high speed fiber optic internet. On my Mac & using wifi only, I usually get somewhere between 450-580 Mbps download speed & 150-240 upload speed with a ping of 13-15 ms. See photo. Wifi is available throughout the entire apartment. Enjoy! TRAVELLING W/ CHILDREN & BABIES: When booking please know that toddlers & babies count as a +1 adult guest with a normal 10 €/night charge. All electrical plugs in the apartment have a built in child safety feature! The Tipi room has a safety feature on the windows which can only be opened with a key which I provide. If you are travelling with little ones please make sure to tell me & please tell me their age & gender so I can make room number 2 (tipi room) more fun! I will add books & toys adapted to their age group. A toddler inflatable air bed is available from the brand "The Shrunks". It is appropriate for ages 2-6+. Kids absolutely LOVE to sleep in it!! It has safety inflatable side bars to prevent them from rolling off & helps them feel secure. A baby crib is available from the brand Babybjorn, it is suitable for newborns up to 3 years. A Babybjorn high chair, toddler eating utensils & baby bath, toilet seat reducer, a diaper changing mat & a stepping stool for the bathroom are available *on request*, if you are traveling with a toddler or baby please make sure to tell me in advance. BEDROOM 1: The master bedroom has a 160x200 (queen) mattress form Trecca’s 5 star hotel collection, with 7 zones of comfort, topped with a layer of memory foam, and is specifically designed to adapt to all body types, a delight to sleep in! You havehigh quality pillows on the bed, each different from the others, offering you the opportunity to chose your favorites to ensure a restful night of sleep. There are reading lights, standard electrical plugs & USB plugs on each side of the bed. A dimmable ceiling light and roll-down blinds which you can shut to enjoy total darkness. The windows are soundproof and the room is remarkably quiet day and night. The room has a closet area with hanging space and drawers. Available extra option: Crib &/or toddler bed BEDROOM 2: Bedroom two is really cute and has a sort of feathery feel to it. With its silky shimmery carpet & indian tipi, it is a place for playing, story telling & dreaming...for children & adults alike! There are two 90x200 (twin XL) beds. The mattresses are airspring with a layer of memory foam for extra comfort. Each bed has two high quality pillows. The ceiling light is dimmable. The windows are soundproof and the room remains very quiet day and night. Available extra options: Crib &/or toddler bed + Extra bamboo clothing rack with hangers for extended stays. BATHROOM: The bathroom is a very unique space made of black natural stone and beautiful black Italian mosaic. There is a very large Italian ceiling rain shower & cascade, and a 4 jet shower handheld shower head. There is a sitting area for two in the shower. There are lots of candles and light dimmer switches for a romantic, meditative or peaceful showering experience. The shower is my favorite place in the apartment, it feels like a space disconnected from the world and thus offers a great place to regenerate. There is a radio and music player integrated into the bathroom wall…so you can enjoy your shower with music. If you have a device with your favorite music stored on it, bring it. You will also find many essentials & a powerful hairdryer. I am generous with the towels, you will have plenty. TOILETS: The toilets are in a separate room near the entrance of the apartment. The toilet is slighty raised to meet reduced mobility standards, but I make a step available for children. Thoroughly disinfected & stocked with lots of quality toilet paper. DESK: The desk is a large, with a very comfortable office chair, a desk lamp, a printer/scanner (on request only, ink not provided) , and office essentials such as paper, envelopes, pens, pencils, highlighters, a ruler, a calculator, colouring pencils, etc. The desk area has multiple electrical plugs and two USB plugs. VERY high speed cable internet is available at the desk and WIFI throughout the apartment. TV & GAMING AREA: The TV area has a very large meridienne style couch which comfortably seats 4, 4 floor cushions for gaming, a 50" (127cm) ULTRA HD 4K SMART TV, cable TV & NETFLIX & over 200 video games + 1 gamepad. The large rug in the gaming area is a great place to play board games (keep in mind my no shoes in the house policy, the floors and rugs are kept really clean for exactly this purpose: sitting on the floor to play) KITCHEN: The kitchen is very well equipped open plan kitchen with a large kitchen island and dining table which sits up to 6 people: 4 in normal chairs & 2 on the cube which is super fun for children or adults who can sit in yogi position :) There is a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a laundry washer & dryer, an oven, a microwave, and an induction cooking station. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, tableware & silverware etc. (see photos). A water kettle, a toaster, an electric tea kettle and a Nesspresso expresso machine. A generous selection of Coffee, tea, milk & sugar are provided. Main spices, salt, oils etc... are also available. In the kitchen you will also find cookbooks in both French & English. LIVING ROOM: The living room has 4 individual seats facing each other. There, you will find a lovely selection of magazines (French & English), books and board games. ELECTRICAL PLUGS & ADAPTERS: All electrical plugs have inbuilt child security. The apartment is many electrical and USB plugs. I also provide US-French, UK-French, German-French & Swiss-French plug adapters. REDUCED MOBILITY ACCESS: The elevator is wheelchair accessible. A guest in wheelchair will easily access the desk area, the TV area, the kitchen area, the living room & bedroom 1. The restrooms are not accessible but the toilets are raised to meet reduced mobility standards and there is a support handle. The shower cannot be accessed with the wheelchair & there is no support handle but there is a very large seat with a hand shower. Before booking make sure to contact me to make sure the apartment is compatible with your needs. AIR CONDITIONING & HEAT The appartement has a very powerful and silent air conditioning/heating unit which will cool/heat the entire place within 10-15 minutes. CLEANING & HYGIENE: The entire apartment is detailed before each guest and you can use all items without second thought, the apartment is VERY clean.
