Situated in the historic town of Ironbridge, in the heart of rural Shropshire, this holiday property which overlooks the historic iron bridge and River Severn, nestles around an attractive courtyard and enjoys all that Ironbridge has to offer. Many museums that are spread along the banks of the River Severn, trace Ironbridge’s history. The iron bridge itself is a reminder to its importance. Visit Bridgnorth, an historic town split in two but connected via a unique Victorian cliff railway. Madeley, 1 mile, boasts listed buildings galore, the grandest being Madeley Court. Newport offers a plethora of independent shops and eateries, whilst Telford has an indoor shopping area with over 150 shops and cafés. Wellington, hosting one of the oldest markets, is also worth a visit, and Wrekin Hill is a comfortable walk away. Kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing are all available, whilst places to visit include castles, abbeys, working farms and museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards. There are four properties around this courtyard which was originally built in the 19th Century during the boom years of the Industrial Revolution. There is so much history in Ironbridge which is all catalogued in the 10 museums all located in and around Ironbridge many with in walking distance. Positioned just a stones throw from the main attraction the Iron Bridge itself and the River Severn which meanders its way through the spectacular gorge.
