Le Rocher et compagnie is happy to welcome you to this haven of peace for beautiful encounters and a stay 100% nature! Built by our uncle Damien, this family-friendly place privileges a sense of well-being to the Mancelles Alps. All passionate about travel, ecology, architecture the space will soon become eco-gîte. This Winter bathroom renovation, new terrace with salon, pergola, inside improvement with new salon, new lights, paintings & games etc... This spacious renovated house on 2 floors enables up to 14 persons for stay. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 3 WC,. The kitchen opens to the West side and terrace while gives on a large room of 56 m2 with dinner table for 14 covers, a living room area with a fire place and television. On the 2nd floor, kids & adults can entertainment themselves in a play room with ping pong table and babyfoot and extra beds can be set. The 2 terraces and space in the garden and around the water pond, gives plenty of freedom to explore and relax. Idéal for family vacation, reception, or to escape and refresh one's spirits in the middle of preserve nature and calm surroundings. In a desire to bring the house to eco-gite standards, cleaning company uses eco-friendly products. Our linen changed to organic cotton. House products are organic as well. All the waste is recycled, Claude on site will guide you for the sorting. You will only pay the energy consumed for heating: the meter readings are made on arrival and departure and the charges (fuel and wood) are to be paid on site at the end of the stay. Independent path and parking leads to the whole house. Outside space includes water pond, garden, 2 terraces one South, one West exposures. Claude who lives near will be there to welcome you and answer all questions. i live in a different section near and am available for any information. During the school holidays the rentals are done by the week minimum. Heating charges are to be paid at the end of your stay according to actual consumption (meter readings). gas cooking, electric oven, microwave, 2 fridge-freezers, 2 TV including 1 flat screen, wifi, fireplace. Possibility to buy wood for the fireplace. Fresh and organic produce from the surrounding farm. multiple sports and cultural activities await you within a 10km radius: tree climbing, horse riding, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking trails, hot air ballooning, museums, historic sites, exceptional artist villages, villages of St Léonard-des-Bois and St Céneri-le-Gérei, natural park classified Alps Mancelles, Alençon: city of residence of the Martin spouses and of birth of Ste Thérèse, forest of Sillé-le-Guillaume etc... Located at the intersection of three departments, the cottage is in the heart of the Mancelles Alps just 2 hours from Paris. We are looking at several internal and external renovations in 2022. A second cottage will be open July 2022 with an Eco-gite label.
