Welcome to Tin Horse Ranch Set on 33 beautiful acres, Tin Horse Ranch offers one of the best private farm stays in the Byron Hinterland. Please note this is not a party venue . We have neighbours and we respect their peace. Any noise complaints will be met with one warning and eviction at the second complaint.The use of the property for a function, party, wedding ceremony/reception or any other similar gathering NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Please note this is a rural property and we do encounter internet, power and heating outages which are beyond our control. We do not provide refunds due to any outages. Tin Horse Ranch is on tank water and during these periods when rainfalls are low guests will be requested to pay for a delivery of water. This cost is $300 and will be charged on arrival to your cc. This is truly a special place. David first fell in love with Tin Horse Ranch nine years ago when he and a group of friends came up for a summer holiday. The same group kept returning and spent many holidays as guests enjoying what it has to offer. David is now the owner of this unique historical part of the Byron hinterland and he divides his time between Sydney and Tin Horse Ranch. You will be greeted at the front gate by our life size “Tin Horse” and colourful flags. A long winding driveway takes you past the platypus creek (spot him if you can) and large lily pond. Continue up to the top of the hill, the circular driveway and covered parking of the main house. A little further along you will find the cabin and studio. Within the grounds there is a sparkling 15 metre pool, a cabana, multiple decks and terraces for entertaining and relaxing and lawns, gardens and grassy paddocks. The property’s water supply is natural rainwater from the 65,000 litre tank with a state of the art ultraviolet water filter, feeding filtered water to all outlets. There are 3 homes on the property. Main house Cabin Studio The number of homes available to you will depend on your group size. Full use of the main house and pool will always be available. The cabin and studio will be available based on group size. The property is located in Pearces Creek and is close to everything the hinterland offers.. The closest grocery store is Tintenbar General Store, a 12 min drive. They are a fresh food grocer and they stock everything you need including locally sourced products and alcohol! They also have a post office, printing facilities, ATM and petrol. The closest pub is Eltham Hotel, a 10 min drive. Newrybar is a 14 min drive. Newrybar has a delightful little village with restaurant, deli, bakery and some cool shops. One of my favs is Harvest Cafe. They also have Newrybar General Store, A well equipped general store with groceries, ATM, petrol. Clunes is a 13 min drive. Clunes has a number of local services including a general store & cafe, petrol station, butcher, bookstore, nurseries and an antiques shop. They also have Clunes Store & Cellars which stocks fresh food, pantry items. The cellars have a very good range including the owner's wines. Woodburn is a 45 min drive is a peaceful town well known to regular travellers with a number of local services including petrol stations and ATM facilities. The river area has beach, park and picnic facilities and you can row, sail, swim, fish and water ski. Country Kitchen is a must stop for their great gourmet pies! The only problem is making your choice :). Burntwood - Cafe and Pizza, is good for coffee, brekky, lunch and dinner. Wurlitzer Bakery, a yummy bakery! And other surrounding places.. 20 minutes to Bangalow. A charming town, federation buildings, parks and delicious treats. The main street (Byron Street) is full of cafes and restaurants as well as galleries and boutiques. 25 minutes to Ballina and Ballina airport. Beautiful beaches, river cruises, kayaking tours and 25 km of cycle paths, along the Richmond River and coastline. Taste the catch of the day at the town's restaurants and cafes. 25 minutes to Lismore. The town has an arts community, cafes and restaurants and fresh local produce at the Organic Market, held weekly. 25 minutes to Lennox.A seaside escape, with coastal scenery, a lake for kayaking and canoeing and the Seven Mile Beach. At the southern end of the beach is Lennox Point, the world-famous point break. The Lennox Longboard Classic is held every August. 30 minutes to the beaches and township of Byron Bay. A stunning piece of paradise with beaches, spectacular coastal trails and amazing marine life, cafes, restaurants and vibrant markets. Popular beaches include Main Beach (patrolled all year round), Clarkes and Wategos beach.
