Authentic and rustic Cévennes house with its south facing terrace and its shaded garden. It is an old sheepfold composed of a main house and an independent cleave. Ideal for hikers, the house is on the heights, in south highly-rated hillside. It is on a hiking trail (G.R 60), and close to a small hamlet. Located away from roads, in péripheral aréa of the Cévennes National Park, it is a place conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation in nature. The sheepfold is composed of a main stone house with its terrace and an annex which also has a terrace. They are south facing in a dominant position with a beautiful view of the mountains. Regarding the rooms, the " Bergerie" "includes: - in the main house: a bedroom with a double bed, and a sleeping area on the mezzanine with two single beds, - in the "clède" a room with double sofa bed and a terrace. Important note: this is a house with exposed stone walls and a slate floor in the living room. Its rustic appearance can make it seem less clean than a house with smooth walls. The sheepfold is independent. It is located near a small hamlet to be crossed, but it is isolated in the nature. Access to the house is via a small footpath that goes up on 50m. The parking can be done: - for small cars, a parking place is 50m from the house after crossing a narrow porch, - for wider vehicles, it is at the entrance of the hamlet at 250m or 300m I will give you all the information on the walks and sites to discover in the surroundings. Many activities are possible nearby: swimming, canoeing, climbing, horse riding, fishing, a permanent cinema (1 / 4d hour). Markets on Fridays in Ganges (9 km) and Saturdays in Vigan (15 km). The house is located 40km from Mount Aigoual (ski resort) and 68 km from the sea. The house is located away from the main roads on a hiking trail (GR60), which makes it charming. It is near (5km) a small village with all shops: bakeries, grocery stores, butcher, post office, pharmacy, cafes ... It is 56km from Montpellier, and 70 km from Nimes. Daily bus connections to these major cities are possible from Pont d'Hérault at 6km or Ganges. The local Hospital is located at 10km. Details on linen, it includes: - one towel per person, and kitchen towels. The house is equipped with blankets and pillows. We Provide bed linen. There is no TV but an internet box.
