Lovely family home only a ten minute drive from the start of the West Highland Way and within easy reach of the city centre of Glasgow. We offer a comfortable double bedroom, a bathroom for the exclusive use of guests and a simple help yourself breakfast. Lovely open plan house with friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Very bright double bedroom with space for your clothes and belongings. Super comfortable double bed with all cotton sheets and bedding. We also have a single bedroom available under a separate listing, although because of Covid restrictions, we now only allow both rooms to be booked by members of the same family/household. Because of Covid and various restrictions, we can sadly no longer offer guest access to our whole house, which means no use of kitchen, sitting room or our downstairs space. You will have pretty much exclusive use of the upstairs and we will provide breakfast for you in the upstairs sitting room area. You can use the garden when the weather permits! We're available to help with any questions and tips about how to make the most of your stay in Scotland. Bearsden is a tranquil suburb of the vibrant city of Glasgow. It's to the North West of Glasgow within easy reach of the West Highland Way, the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and the most glorious countryside. Guests have the best of both worlds with Glasgow on the doorstep and the tranquility of the countryside just moments away. It's an ideal base for touring Loch Lomond, the Tossachs, Stirling and Edinburgh. Free on site parking. Bearsden is extremely well connected to all transport links and approximately a twenty minute drive from the centre of Glasgow. We are a twenty minute walk from Bearsden Railway station, where there are four trains an hour into Glasgow City Centre (journey takes 20 minutes) and a direct rail service to Edinburgh City Centre ( one hour and 15 minutes approx) There is also a good bus service into Glasgow. It's a 20 minute walk or 5 minute train journey to Milngavie and the start of the West Highland Way.
