A cosy and comfortable midweek or weekend cottage hideaway with Pakington Street and Shannon Avenue just a short stroll away or the Waterfront and City centre a 5 minute drive with plenty of cafés, restaurants, wine bars and boutique shops. You can follow us on IG @hideaway_cottage This gorgeous Edwardian cottage hideaway is warm, inviting and you will feel right at home with the carefully and beautifully styled interiors, that focus on comfort and laid back luxury. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need for your own culinary creations. All of your needs have been considered including cookbooks, spices, oil, long life milk, coffee machine, tea, sharp knives, pots/pans, wine glasses and cheeseboard making supplies. Set the scene at the timber dining table overlooking the beautiful north facing garden with bifold opening doors. Out in the back garden enjoy the roaring open fire pit for those cosy nights with a wine or hot chocolate. Curl up in the hammock with your favourite book or cook something on the Weber. A gas fire and original fireplace mantle in the bedroom is the ultimate luxury for a night in watching a movie or a weekend sleep in. You will find the bedroom to be beautifully decorated with soft linens, a queen bed and smart TV. The first living room has a large sofa and smart TV perfect for a night in relaxing and watching your favourite shows. Or curl up on the sofa with a book in the second living room which also has a gorgeous gas fireplace for your comfort. The bathroom hosts a shower over bath, generous sized vanity, lush towels, eco friendly hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner. While we don’t have any baby supplies, infants are more than welcome. Please note you’ll need to bring a porta cot and all of your essentials. There is space to setup a cot in the second living space. My home is also located a short 15 minute walk from the CBD and waterfront also offering the new Geelong City Library, Galleries and many more shops, restaurants and cafes. Perfect stay for a couple or student. Very short walk to almost everything. If you require transport to Melbourne or the Surfcoast, this can be easily accessed via the train / bus station in the City.
