The second has facilities for self-catering, TV and music centre, plus a sofa bed should there be more than 2 guests sharing or a family with children. Off road parking is available Guests can also have access to utility room and rear garden. If necessary, the main kitchen and family bathroom can be used if arrangements are made in advance. We like to interact with guests but also respect their desire for privacy if preferred. any requirements or requests are considered and provided wherever possible. Peterborough is an expanding city with many business headquarters and industrial companies. The old part, with the Cathedral is full of historical interest. Orton Waterville is one of its original villages, just on the outskirts & immediately off the A1, with several listed buildings and a place in the Doomsday Book. The Nene Country Park is within walking distance offering extensive open spaces for many activities, including a water sports centre. Also very close is the Peterborough Arena where several large scale functions are held. throughout the year. The village is on a bus route into the centre of Peterborough from where buses to all the surrounding areas can be found. The railway station is on the main line from Kings Cross to Edinburgh with a frequent train service. For guests travelling without transport we can offer a pickup arrangement from railway or bus station at a cheaper rate than a taxi if convenient arrangements can be made.
