Little Rankin Cottage - CBD

Built in the early 1800’s and newly redecorated, Little Rankin is a rustic and stylish 2 bedroom cottage located in the Bathurst CBD. Little Rankin is a cosy and unique heritage space in a quiet, central area of Bathurst. The cottage is professionally cleaned before and after each stay. We are currently ensuring up to 48 hours vacancy at the cottage between guests. Features of the cottage: - There are 2 bedrooms (Queen bed, and 2 king single beds) and provides plenty of room for a weekend away, business trip or long term stay. - Convenient 10 minute walk to CBD restaurants, cafes, shops, pubs and supermarkets. - Car parking is available on the street outside the cottage - park the car and walk to and from Bathurst's attractions. - Reverse cycle air conditioning, 2 gas heaters and 3 electric heaters are available in the cottage, along with pedestal fans. Walking through the front entrance, a central hallway connects the front sitting room, dining area and bedrooms. The main bedroom has old-world charm with high ceilings, built-in wardrobe, hanging chandelier and queen bed. The second bedroom with traditional floor boards, has 2 king single beds along with clothes hanging space and mirror. The quirky aqua blue kitchen with its rustic style offers essential cooking items along with microwave, dishwasher and Expressi coffee machine. Cooking basics such as oil, sugar, salt & pepper, herbs and tea bags and coffee pods are provided. A large bathroom with bathtub, along with a separate Mediterranean style rainfall shower. The bathroom has a wall length mirror, hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner essentials. At the rear of the cottage a large sun-room offers additional dining space, reverse-cycle air conditioning, outdoor courtyard/breakfast area, along with a TV and lounge area, and gas heating. Opening doors lead out to a quaint undercover area and leafy backyard with rustic outdoor seating for 4. There is a Weber bbq provided for guest use, on request only. Have a night in and enjoy a DVD from the DVD library, or switch off the tele and set up a board game in the sitting room. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact me. The entire house is available to guests during their stay. We like to give guests privacy to enjoy their time away. A lock box allows for ease and convenience with check-in. Parking is on the street outside the cottage. There is plenty of parking along the street for larger vehicles as well. Within 5-10 minutes walk you’ll find fast food restaurants, bakery, supermarket, RSL Club, gym, bottle shop, pub with great bistro, a park with lovely walking tracks and Bathurst aquatic centre. Enjoy a night out with pubs, great restaurants and cafes 10-15 minutes walk or 2-3 blocks. Apologies but there is No WiFi provided at the cottage. The fire place in the back sun-room is currently unavailable for use. There are 2 gas heaters & electric heaters in the house for the cooler weather and pedestal fans for the warmer months.
