Lake District Holiday Caravan

Situated alongside our home in the Lake District National Park, we have a 4 berth static caravan. The caravan itself is modern, clean and well equipped. The location is an excellent base for the South Lakes (Kendal/Windermere), Ideally with your own transport as we are located in the countryside although it is on a regular bus route. No pets. Situated in the far corner of our garden, the caravan has excellent views of the surrounding area, and our property is located in the perfect location as a base for the South Lakes (Kendal, Windermere etc) - with the nearby village of Staveley offering quaint pubs, shops and cafes. The caravan is fully equipped - just bring your food and clothes. The caravan itself has 1 double bedroom, a second smaller bedroom with 2 single beds. You will have the caravan to yourself during your entire stay and you can park your cars directly outside and we will make sure you have full access up and down the driveway at all times. We have both lived in the Lake District all our lives, and love to share our knowledge on the local area. In particular, we are keen cyclists and walkers. The caravan has easy access to the nearby Kentmere Valley which offers great Mountain bike routes straight from the house - please ask us for more details in advance of and during your stay. We would never wish for anybody to go without anything - so just ask. Our home and the caravan are situated in a small hamlet called plantation bridge. There are only two houses near ours, allowing for great views, easy access and little noise/light pollution. Buses can be hailed down at the bottom of the driveway in either direction (Kendal or Windermere). Taxi's can be booked in advance, but often charge fees to travel all the way out. There is a petrol station at the bottom of the driveway which sells the essentials (milk, bread etc). Kendal is a 5 mile drive away and has two large supermarkets. It would be useful to have a car with you in this location, but not essential, as there are local buses. Please note the accommodation does not have a reliable WiFi connection. We do not accept pets.
