A newly renovated Holiday Let, ideal for Families,walkers, cyclist and those who enjoy spending a relaxing time on the beach and the countryside .Situated in the quiet hamlet of Soar in the village of Talsarnau,near Harlech,the property is close enough to local shops and amenities but is in a quiet countryside area with a large garden for you to enjoy. Sleeps 5 people comfortably, with plenty of parking for cars and boats,a large lockable garage for secure storage. Hafod is a lovely Private Bungalow set in a large garden with miles of lovely walks behind the accomadation leading up to the Rhiniogydd mountains were you can see lovely views of Sea and mountains such as Snowdon and the Llyn Peninsula were you can find Bryn Cader Faner a Bronze Age round cairn and plenty of lakes to wild swim or Fishing or you can simply walk 0.5miles down to the Dwyryd estuary and cross over to Ynys Gifftan on Low tide .The Estuary is also ideal for Kayaking with your own Kayak from Ynys down towards Black Rocks or Harlech or up the River Dwyryd.The Ancient Celtic Rainforest is also worth exploring were you can find hundreds of acers of ancient Oak Woodlands,streams,Waterfalls and buzzing with wildlife ,rare Plants and many species of rare Birds..The area is also ideal for Mountain biking up the quiet lanes 5miles to the Start of the New 8mile cycle paths around Trawsfynydd Lake.Porthmadog - 15 minutes by car. Harlech -10 minutes by car. Portmeirion Village -10 minutes by car. Caernarfon - 30 minutes by car. Betws y Coed - 40 minutes by car. Guest will have access to all parts of accomadation,garage, enclosed garden and private driveway with a lovely countryside walks to the back of Hafod. we live 3 miles from Hafod holiday and will be available to offer help throughout your stay if needed. The nearest sandy beach is Harlech and it will take you around 10 minutes by car and a further 5 minutes walk to get there. Portmeirion village is across the estuary and is well worth a visit. The property is around a 30 minute drive from adrenaline-filled attractions such as Zip World and Bounce Below and around 45 minutes from the foot of Snowdon. Train station and bus service near by(0.5 miles)
