The property lies just outside the small village of Sillicano located 8 km from the town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. In the village of Sillicano (at 500 meters distance) there is a food shop, you can also purchase here bread and vegetables / fruit. In Castelnuovo di Garfagnana there are supermarket, bars, restaurants and other shops. There is public parking at 200 meters from the property, you can drive to the house to load/unload the luggage. The property is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday and visit the Garfagnana area with it charming villages, great scenic drives, walking-hiking (we suggest in the Orecchiella Natural Park) and other outdoor activities. It’s at the same time a good starting point to visit Pisa, Lucca and for a day at sea (the Versilia Riviera is 60 kms away). The main nearby town is Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (at 9 kms) and has many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets and weekly open market on Thursday.
