The Goshen Slow Motion
This three-bedroom house is the perfect getaway for one big family, two small families, or a group of friends. The open layout is great for socializing, and among the three bedrooms you'll find one king bed, one queen bed, and a set of bunk beds. Outside you'll find open patios, a grill, a fire pit, and plenty of space to hang. In light of Covid-19, we're taking cleaning very seriously. In addition to washing all bedding, spraying and wiping down counters, and other normal cleaning routines, we've begun airing the house out with open windows between guests and disinfecting common touch points such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails. We lock off half the basement for personal storage, but the rest of the house is yours. You'll have full, private access to the two main floors and a laundry room. You'll have the house to yourself, but we want to make sure you're comfortable during your stay. So if anything comes up, shoot us a message and we'll help resolve it. The neighborhood is quiet and Goshen Village is just half a mile away. There you'll find restaurants, diners, ice cream, and coffee shops all within walking distance. We are less than three miles from Legoland, which opens on July 4th, 2020. You can also visit the Harness Racing Museum (or an actual horse race, depending on when you visit), or rent a bike at Joe Fix Its and set off on the Orange County Heritage Trail. Goshen is also a short drive to wineries, breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants—plus Bear Mountain and the Woodbury Common shopping outlets. If you're driving, the house has plenty of parking. And if you arrive by NJ Transit, you can get out at Campbell Hall and take an Uber from the train station. (It's a $15 or $20 fair.) Goshen is very walkable. You'll find sidewalks leading you into the Village, or you can get around on rental bikes from Joe Fix Its. (We have Uber and Lyft as well, if you prefer that route.)
