12 bedroom House on the Western tip of the IOW

Hi, this property is a Youth Hostel in the summer, from September (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) until May (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) it can be rented as a private house - your family/group will have sole occupancy of the whole building. 12 bedrooms & 12 bathrooms. 5 bedrooms have double beds & en-suites. 2 bedrooms have single beds, all other beds are bunkbeds. Only a 10 minute walk to Totland beach, we are surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty, 1.5 miles from the Needles & Alum Bay. Free wi-fi and free parking for our guests. Its a big old building. In the summer we can accommodate 50 people. For you, this time of year, we have lots of space. Groups that come and stay here range from 4 people to 40 people. Example. a group of 12 might want a bedroom each. 4 Families will want to spread out. Its easy with 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, 2 lounges , a large dining room and a large kitchen. We a full size table tennis table in our games room. Of our 12 bedrooms & 12 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms have double beds & en-suites. 2 other bedrooms have single beds in them, all our other beds are bunkbeds. We have Family bedrooms and we have smaller bedrooms ideal for an individual. Use as many bedrooms as you want, some you might not use. As long as you are comfortable. All bedding is provided, but not towels. There is full central heating to all rooms. When staying here you are renting the whole Youth Hostel. I can greet you or you can pick up the keys from a lockbox on your arrival. I would speak to you or email/message you to arrange access into the building. Once you have the building keys you can come and go as you please. If I greet you I show you around, if you let yourselves in there is a manual on how things work and where things are. If you need me I provide a mobile telephone number you can contact me on. We apologise that we are not particularly accessible to disabled guests. Its the nature of an old building. We have a short steep driveway, then a gravel car park and 3 steps up to the front door. We have 1 ground floor bedroom all other 11 bedrooms are on the 1st floor. I'm at the end of a phone if you need me or if you have any questions. We are located on the edge of a quiet village. We are surrounded by the sea and beaches, beautiful countryside and coastal paths. Its a 10 min walk to Totland beach. Colwell beach is a 20 min walk, Freshwater Bay is a 30 min walk. These 3 beaches are all 5 min away by car. Alum Bay is a 1 hour walk away [10min by car], the Needles is 1.5 hrs away for walkers. Cars can only go as far as the Needles Pleasure Park in Alum Bay. We have a great bus network on the Island. Our buses run hourly. Prices start at £3.50 for single journeys. Rover passes are a better deal for 24hrs & 48hrs or better value up to 7 days unlimited travel cards. Our bus company is called Southern Vectis.
