Tiny house - South Gippsland, Poowong

The Pod is a tiny house located in the small dairying town of Poowong, South Gippsland. Situated on 2.5 acres in town, it is just a short walk to local shops. The spacious wrap around deck is perfect for sitting back and taking in the surrounds after a day exploring. The Pod offers guests home comforts including queen size bed, access to Netflix, Spotify , You-tube, Wi-Fi, portable bluetooth speaker. Reverse cycle cooling and heating. Outdoor BBQ and Portable electric frypan for indoor cooking. The host also lives on this property. It is not the traditional off gird, remote concept of a Tiny home. However your privacy is respected and you will have your own outdoor space. Most areas are shared with guests. Please take note of any signage. You may like to visit the chickens, (eggs seasonally available), or collect vegetables / Fruit, (seasonally available). The Fire pit is located in an open area at the bottom of the property, guests are welcome to use this space. The Fire pit is NOT available during fire risk seasons, ( usually November - May), or on days of severe wind. Wood is provided. Host lives on property, most areas are shared with guests during their stay however some areas are private and these will be identified with signage. We will respect your privacy during your stay however will be available most days should guests require any assistance or have any questions. Poowong being a small town is well equipped with facilities which include small IGA supermarket, Pub, outdoor swimming pool ( seasonal), tennis courts, Library. The Pod is located within the township and a short walk to these facilities. Tennis rackets and balls available to guests upon request. Bicycles also available to ride around and explore township, please msg at the time you would like to borrow these. Towels for outdoor public pool or beach also available upon request. Poowong has no public transport options. You will need to be able to drive. We are only 8 km from Loch, a gorgeous township to visit with brewery, gin distillery, winery, local produce shops and restaurant / cafes. Inverloch, a small seaside town with quiet swimming spots and gorgeous rugged cliffs is 38km drive. Happy to help with any suggestions on where to visit depending on your interests.
