Idylle waking with a smile, sleeping with a memory

No matter when or why you are coming to Malvern this is home from home. Light and airy this two-bedroom two bathroom detached bungalow is situated on the edge of Poolbrook common, close to the Three Counties Showground, and convenient for the Great Malvern Priory as well as the Malvern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. Lovingly remodelled, gone are the conventional cramped rooms of a traditional bungalow, everything is open and new. This is Elgar’s country, so we named our totally remodelled bungalow ‘Idylle’, his first published work. Idylle is positioned within walking distance of local shops, a convenience store, gastropubs and around a mile from the centre of Great Malvern with further amenities including banks, restaurants, supermarkets, the renowned theatre and cinema complex, the Splash pool and gymnasium, the Priory Park and the heritage part of town. The bungalow is on a bus route with the railway station close by. Lock box allows access to entire floor. Often we will travel while you visit but you can always reach me by phone or internet, available free in the bungalow. If you experience any difficulty or just seek local advice call and my daughter, who lives locally, will attend. Just walk out the door to find Poolbrook common where you can walk the dog - or just yourself and the Three Horseshoes pub is very convenient offering a full menu of refreshment. For the occasional walker the climb to the top of British Camp is moderately strenuous but worthwhile. From here view all three counties as far as Wales, a good vantage point to plan additional outings. You are surrounded by outstanding countryside and quaint villages in any direction. Refreshments are available most days, all seasons, including across the road from the car park.
