A dog-friendly red brick traditional Victorian cottage within walking distance of Porthgain Harbour, Manor Villa is a comfortable base for families and friends to enjoy the St Davids Peninsula and Pembrokeshire Coast Path. If you dream of days gone by, when home comforts meant cosy and immaculately clean, then Manor Villa may just be the place for you. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 adults and 1 child. 1 Double with Single bed, antique wardrobe, armchair, bedside tables. 1 Twin bedroom with built-in wardrobe and dressing table and 1 Single, all on 1st floor. A family bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin, is also on 1st floor. An entrance hall leading to the dining room & lounge with sofa, 2 side chairs, a further 2 armchairs, small dining table, FreeView TV and DVD. The dining oom has a dining table seating six. There is also a shower room with a shower, toilet and washbasin on the ground floor. The kitchen is a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also the addition of a sun room - with Rattan sofa and chairs. The grounds have an enclosed garden with lawn, mature planted borders, outdoor circular table and bench barbecue. Secure store for bikes and boards. Located in the rural village of Llanrhian, on the quiet coastal road, Manor Villa is a comfortable base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The Strumble Shuttle bus stops just outside the door, allowing you to leave the car at home, while Porthgain Harbour and the coastal path are just a short walk away. The cottage has been part of Manor Farm since 1896, originally housing the farm manager, it now welcomes guests enjoying a more traditional holiday stay owned by Lord of the Manor, guests can enjoy free parking at Abereiddy which is part of the estate. As neighbours to the farmyard, you are invited to experience farm life first-hand, including a visit to the milking parlour, when the cows come home. The comfortable furnishings and fittings remain true to the character of the cottage and are new for 2018 Each of the rooms are comfortably furnished, providing everything that you need for a relaxing break. The enclosed garden is for children and pets to play, and a lovely suntrap for an evening barbecue to end your day. The farm is adjacent and offers an insight into the world of dairy farming. A comfortable walk to the wonderful harbour of Porthgain and The Sloop, the best seafood in the peninsula. Guests will have the entire cottage available to them exclusively for the entire duration of the booking, including all outdoor areas. You will also be invited to visit the working farm, but please only enter when supervised and offered to do so, for your own safety. Bookings and initial communication will be handled by Quality Cottages, and the owners/caretakers will be available during your stay if you should need anything. Details for contact will be given closer to the time of your arrival. Llanrhian is near Porthgain, which is a small picturesque harbour with the Shed bistro/bar, the Sloop Inn, a character pub serving excellent bar food and 2 small art galleries showing the work of local artists and crafts. For such a small cove, it packs a lot in. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs both east and west from Porthgain. The dramatic coastal scenery, flower,s and wildlife are what make Pembrokeshire one of the world's best holiday destinations (National Geographic voted Pembrokeshire the 2nd best coastal destination in the world) splendid at all times of the year, but the explosion of colour with the spring flowers is something to behold! There are good road links to and from Llanrhian and across Pembrokeshire, as well as seasonal public transport routes, and good local taxi firms. The nearest train stations are Fishguard and Goodwick. A more direct train route would be to alight at Haverfordwest, but whilst a quicker journey to Pembrokeshire, this station is not as close to the cottage. Up to two small/medium size dogs are welcome at £25 each per stay. This is not included in the rental cost and will be collected separately after booking. Whilst the cottage states it sleeps 6, please note the single bed in the main bedroom is only suitable for a child, therefore, parties of 5 adults plus one child only are permitted.
