The cottage offers far reaching views of the gently undulating countryside with footpaths and bridleways directly from the cottage. Fully enclosed dog friendly garden, seating area and private hot tub. Located on a Care Farm this is a fully accessible single storey property with fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, shower wet room, double bedroom with en-suite and a further twin bedded room. Outside there is a small secluded garden, outdoor furniture and BBQ. The property has been refurbished to a high standard to provide a comfortable, fresh, but relaxing environment. The cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably. Recent improvements include a Nespresso coffee maker and for cosy nights in a wood burning stove. I should also mention that guests will also be able to enjoy unwinding in the brand new 'all singing and all dancing' 5 seater hot tub! Amenities One double bedroom, one twin bedded room with an extra trundle out bed if required. Central heating, private garden, outdoor furniture, barbecue, television, DVD player, Wifi, cooker, fridge freezer and private parking for up to four vehicles. Blueberry Cottage is ideally situated to take advantage of some of the most stunning parts of Suffolk. The traditional market town of Framlingham is only 5 miles away, known for its Norman castle and wealth of historic buildings. Within an easy drive is Suffolk’s heritage coast with it’s beaches, ancient towns, villages and country houses. Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Southwold and Orford to mention a few, are well worth a visit. All offer something different from the finest fish and chips to an award winning smoke house, quaint beach huts and even works of art on the beach. For music lovers there is a world class concert hall at Snape Maltings, plus a unique shopping experience and the opportunity to take a river trip along the picturesque River Alde. For the outdoor enthusiasts there are miles of quiet country roads to cycle along, horse riding, golf and numerous footpaths to explore. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere is a must for bird lovers, as is Dunwich Heath with it’s wealth of wildlife. Rendlesham and Tunstall forests offer great walking and cycling opportunities or just a chance to relax with a picnic. For the foodies Suffolk is also awash with great places to eat, offering amazing local food in beautiful country settings. This visits a number of local towns on different days. We can provide a timetable for this. The nearest train stations are Ipswich and Stowmarket. The public bus service is limited and there is a half mile walk to the nearest pick up point. Cycling is very popular in the area and being relatively flat this is an ideal way to explore the area. Bed linen provided, towels provided, laundry room separate to the cottage with washing machine and tumble drier. Access to the farm and it’s variety of animals including chickens, goats, miniature horses, rare breed pigs, sheep, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. The owners are on site 24/7 should you require assistance and are more than happy to show you around the farm to meet the animals. There is also an artisan wine company on site making handcrafted wines and liquers. Produce raised and grown on the farm is available to buy if you fancy some really local high quality meat, vegetables and eggs.
