Humbug Bunkhouse offers Amazing views of George’s bay , Humbug nature reserve and St Helens Island with only a short 3.5 km drive to the center of St Helens where you can enjoy our mountain bike trails, explore our local cafes and buy some of the finest wines, cheeses and local treats. Come stay, relax and enjoy the abundance of wide open space and an ever changing view that just doesn’t get old. To view the “spike ball “ sculpture and deer you can take short walk up the center of the paddock on the mowed track to the neighboring property. Kids can feed the deer bread , fruit and vegetable scraps. The entrance to the property off Binalong bay road is a little steep but it is a sealed bitumen road .There's plenty of car parking space for boats /vans. We do have access via a private rear road should this be a concern for long vehicles , please inquire with the host . Bike track to St. Helens from entrance of property, just a 5 minute ride. bike track/footpath basically from the bottom of the drive way all the way into St Helen's. City folks should know that the property is on tank water and to keep this in mind when taking showers. Unfenced Dam on property. We are basically living in the bush and we do get visits from bugs /insects and the like.... hence the ''farm stay " listing.
