Yurt So Good!

A truly magical place to escape from it all. High on a hill with views towards the village of Millthorpe & beyond, this yurt is just for you and that someone special. Luxurious linen, fluffy towels, candles, electric blankets, a warming indoor fire or cooling air conditioning. Perfect for a weekend getaway or mid week sojourn. Located on a farm, our 12 sided cedar yurt has a huge deck with separate kitchen and bathroom. Outside is a private firepit with adirondack chairs to enjoy the peace. This yurt is all yours. You have your own driveway and parking spot. There is no WiFi. The vibe is modern with a country twist. There are blinds to block out the morning sun so you can sleep in before whipping up a yummy breakfast. There is great heating and air conditioning available. All the comforts of home are here for you to enjoy. Settle in and read a book, play a game, go for a walk, snooze, whatever you feel. Relax. We do have another listing on the property. Consider booking the whole farm and getting away from it all with friends. We are available as much or as little as you wish. We are within 1 km of the Forest Reefs Tavern. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights you can usually get a pub meal or pizza. It’s easy, yummy and very affordable. You will need a car to get here and explore the area. There is no public transport and taxis are very expensive. We are located 10kms from Millthorpe and 22kms from Orange. Wine tours will collect you from Elizabeth Farm as part of their service. We welcome pets on tour “with their parents”. The yurt yard is fully enclosed and fenced for their safety. You just need to ensure that they stay in the yurt yard. We have boer goats and an alpaca called “Mater”. They are lots of fun to sit with, feed and watch.
