The Water Mill Cottage

The Water Mill Cottage is a traditional summer house in the village of Zia, recently renovated to meet the modern needs of visitors in a unique natural environment that combines tranquility and relaxation with comfort. Ideal for an unforgettable vacation at one of the most popular spots on the Island of Kos. The vantage point, its spacious terrace offers daily an unhindered view to an enchanting sunset and the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. The internal is an open plan space of 50 square meters with all modern amenities such as A/C, Wi-Fi, electric oven, washing machine and dishwasher, smart TV etc. It consists of two wings, a large living area with 2 elevated double beds (one on each side), kitchen area with dining sofas and table and a bathroom with toilet, W/C and shower cabin, separated by door. The external space is a wide yard partly shadowed by a huge walnut tree and a terrace with unparalleled views. The access to the property by car is made through Zia main Square, uphill and right turn to Karydia Square at the public sign and continuing uphill for 100 meters. Free parking is available on the street right outside the traditional Water Mill, some 30 meters away from The Water Mill Cottage in a straight line. The neighboorhood is the most untarnished, original part of Zia Village where nature and man have learned to coexist in a very healthy symbiosis full of mutual respect. The area has a few houses with blossomed gardens and is engulfed in woods and the humidity produces a cooler atmosphere and makes Zia the ideal place to take refuge from the sweltering summer heat. The water from the spring of Kefalovrisi (situated on the upper part of the village) used to flow through the neighboorhood and allowed to power the watermills.
