We offer 2 private rooms in an old restored home in a heritage street 5km from the city. Enjoy the private bedroom, en suite and sitting room downstairs as the owners are upstairs. We are walking distance to the tram, train and a vibrant eating area. Our home is a single fronted heritage listed, in a heritage listed street 5 km from the city. Flemington and Moonee Valley Racecourses are very close with public transport to both race courses and walking distance to the Show Grounds. Guests have exclusive access to a double bedroom, a large en suite bathroom with a bath. The laundry is available for longer stays. The private sitting room has a T.V. Wi fi and a desk for working at your computer. In the summer months guests can use the pool if we are at home. Parking is available in the street and will need a permit which is available from us. . Tea and coffee are always available in the kitchen. We are keen travellers and enjoy sharing stories and experiences . We are also aware that some guests want and expect their privacy. We can offer suggestion and assistance to enjoy this great city. Our street is heritage listed and has a variety of older homes. It is a restored single fronted weather board and is situated in a quiet leafy street. Ascot Vale is close to the city and is close to other well known areas such as Puckle street and Lygon Street. Our local Union Road shopping area has a great variety of restaurants and cafes. A bus service goes to Williamstown via Footscray. The tram and train close by takes you into the city. Ascot Vale railway station is easy walking distance and is only 4 stops to the city loop. At the end of the street is a tram that also takes you to the city. We have a bus to other suburbs and trains. City link entrance and exit is close by. There are bike paths into the city and along the nearby river.The tram takes you to Victoria market. There are many walking paths along the river parkland. It's a great position for access to the Show Grounds and Racecourses and is a very quiet inner suburb close to the the city with great public transport.
