Takaka Valley Farm Stay

Exclusive Takaka Valley Farm Stay is a Red Deer Farm. The exclusive accommodation is self contained and is ideal for couples, family or larger group. The accommodation will sleep up to 9. The scenery is breath taking. It is quiet peaceful and exclusive. Takaka is 17 kms away beaches 30 mins. We are situated between the Able Tasman and Kahurangi national parks. You will be in Hobbit Lord of the Rings country. Your host are Ivor and Robyn retired nurses. MEALS ARE NOT INCLUDED. ORDER ON BOOKING. You can drive to Takaka Valley Farm Stay from the Picton ferry that will bring you from the North Island from Wellington. Head towards Nelson then Motueka then over the Takaka Hill. You can fly to Nelson from Auckland and Christchurch and pick up a hire car. You can drive from Christchurch over either the Lewis Pass or over the Arthur Pass and drive up the west coast. Both are spectacular drives that will take your breath away. You can fly from Wellington to Takaka and we will pick you up from the air port. You will have access to all the Chalet accommodation and most parts of the farm unless other wise advised when you stay. We are available and live on site in the main farm house. You are the only guests and Takaka Valley Farm Stay is exclusively yours. No public transport. We do provide guided tours of Golden Bay at extra cost. We provide free advise of where to go and what to see and what is not to be missed. We will help with booking and tours you might like to do. If pre arranged and at a small cost we will look after children if adults want a night out or get away for a day. We are both police checked nurses. The nightly rate is for 2 people. After that each additional guest is $60 per person including children over 5 years of age.
