You will have plenty of space to enjoy at Woolwich, whether you are cooking up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or putting your feet up in the sunny private courtyard. Accommodation is air conditioned with ceiling fans to bedrooms, lounge, dining, includes 2 bathrooms and laundry. 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds, the third with a day bed that converts to a small double. Local park, playground and BBQ equipment is just around the corner. Whatever the reason for your visit we are close to urban-edgy Leederville with its cinema and restaurant precinct, TAFE and WA universities, medical facilities in Subiaco and the fabulously calming Lake Monger. Spoilt for choice with fantastic coffee, small bars and dining options within walking distance in West Leederville, Leederville, Subiaco and Wembley. Weekend Farmer’s Markets and fresh food outlets offering local produce are also close by. Alternatively jump on the train to Perth City or Fremantle and discover great venues in some of Western Australia’s unique heritage precincts. Perth’s cultural hub is only 2 stops on the train and when not hosting the largest fringe festival in the Southern hemisphere, has a range of world class exhibitions in its museums, galleries and theatres. Medical practices are just a block away, including St John of God Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital is close by. It’s a short walk to the grocery stores, with other shops including discount outlets, cafes and restaurants equally accessible. Public transport is great, with access to buses, the free Green CAT buses and two train stations (Fremantle and Northern Lines). Good freeway access. On foot, head north down Northwood Street to the beautiful Lake Monger for a morning jog, sunset stroll or to interact with the ducks. Head off west down to Fremantle on the train, lots of old heritage sites and building in the port city, weekend markets and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. Also a great jump off spot for a ferry across to Rottnest Island for the day. Or take a couple of stops in to the City of Perth, shopping, restaurants, bars, cinemas and art galleries await, Elizabeth Quay. Hop on a ferry across to the zoo in South Perth or take the tourist boats up or down the river for sight seeing. Watertown outlet shopping is just one train stop.
