Langley Estate, Bendigo - Vahland Suite

Langley Estate, Bendigo is an iconic Australian Federation-era estate on 2.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in Victoria's spectacular and historic Goldfields region. 90 minutes from Melbourne Airport, the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Langley Hall mansion is 'arguably Bendigo and the surrounding district's grandest residential property and one of the city's most admired historic landmarks.' The Vahland Suite is a north-facing upstairs suite with a queen-sized bed. This suite has a private bathroom located immediately next to the suite: please note it is not a bathroom 'en suite' as such. Although your private bathroom is not shared with other guests, you will need to 'step out' of your bedroom briefly to access the bathroom literally next to your room. The suite also contains a comfortable couch, tea and coffee-making facilities and a bar fridge. As with all rooms at Langley, the suite is heated and air-conditioned. The suite is named for the 'premier architect of the Victorian goldfields': William Vahland (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) who, in partnership with John Beebe, was one of the architects of Langley Hall. Langley Hall was the Vahland-Beebe architectural partnerships largest commission. Some guests may remember the Vahland Suite as the Peppercorn Suite, as the large north-facing window looks out over the former site of a large Peppercorn Tree. Langley Estate is conveniently located only five minutes up the Midland Highway (A300) from Pall Mall in the heart of Bendigo's historic CBD. The Midland Highway is called Napier Street in White Hills; the highway is called Pall Mall in the very centre of Bendigo.
