Welcome to our large, friendly & fun home. Our home is on 4 levels with rails on our not steep stairs. I’m an ESOL Teacher (Teach English to speakers of other languages), & Garry is a Mech. Engineer. We are well travelled, and understanding of cultural differences. You are welcome to come & go as you please - and to have as little or as much interaction as you would like, with us. We look forward to meeting you 🌺 A very large home with good sized bedrooms and large common living areas. We are a relaxed, communicative and happy couple. We are well travelled and understanding of cultural differences. We are nearing the end of having a beautiful new German kitchen fitted. You are welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee, toast and yoghurt for breakfast. We have extensive outdoor decking for you to sit and enjoy the sunshine on. Absolutely no smoking inside our home. Smoking OUTSIDE is ok. Hi there 😁 We will be here to meet and greet you, and to show you around our home - to familiarise you with your new environment. Thereafter you are welcome to come and go as you please. Your room is a good size, and is clean and comfortable. It was recently refurbished. The bathroom is diagonally across from your room, so is in easy reach. It is an original 1970s bathroom, available for your use, it is clean but in need of modernising. There is an original blue and white Formica vanity and turn handle toilets. This is our next project. The shower pressure is great! Bathroom is lockable. This bathroom is for your use, and to share with other Air BnB's, if applicable. You are welcome to sit in our large lounge with / without us. We have an 80cm tv. Alternatively, there is a huge family room downstairs, where you can sit and relax. There is extensive outside decking, with inbuilt seating, and nice gardens. It will be our pleasure to meet and greet you, after which you are free to come and go as you please. Please feel free to enjoy your own privacy or sit with us and chat. You can have as little or as much interaction with us as you would like. The very popular Cinnamon Cafe is a short stroll away, as are Waikato River Walks & Cycle Ways. Walk or drive to “The Base” - NZ’s largest shopping centre. Bus, drive or walk to the Te Rapa business sector, which is also easily reachable. A safe, friendly neighbourhood. BYO alcohol but no heavy drinking please. Walk, Drive, Bus, Uber, Taxi, Cycle or Run. Raewin is mostly home during the day, and Garry is on some days also. We have vintage Mini cars in our driveway so on street parking is available to you. We are living in a safe, well lit, small street though. There is a bus stop into the city a 2 minute walk away, in 2 directions. We are located a short 5 minute walk to Waikato River Walk / cycle ways. “The Base” - New Zealand’s largest shopping centre is within a 10-15 minute walk. We are situated close to the Te Rapa business sector, and the bus runs in that direction also.
