Located at the heart of Seoul, STAY256 is a century old Korean traditional housing, Hanok. STAY256 offers antique rooms with traditional furniture. The courtyard is a beautiful place where you can relax and chill, or have some fun with other guests. At STAY256, you can enjoy tea in a traditional chinaware, in a Korean traditional style living room, while a flatscreen TV with cable channels is readily available. We will try our best for your comfortable stay, so please feel free to contact us. Because the property was built a century ago in a traditional style, there are one or two stepping stones in front of each room entrance. We apologize for any inconvenience. One queen size or single size mattresses are available in each room, and you can add more in some rooms! STAY256 is equipped with induction stove-top and some kitchenware, so you might want to cook for yourself. If you need something, please let us know in advance. The courtyard is where you can relax and chill or gather and have fun. A communal lounge/dining area with TV are also available. We try to stay within the property most of the times, but sometimes might not be available. you can call/text us when we are not around, and we'll try to answer as soon as possible. STAY256 is located only minutes walk away from tourist attractions such as Gyeongbokgung palace, Bukchon Hanok village, Insa-dong and many more. Sinchon, Itaewon and Gangnam are only a few kilometers away, so they are easily reachable by subway, bus or taxi. Anguk subway station(line3) is one kilometer away, and Gwanghwamun station(line5) is 1.5 kilometer away. both can be reached by bus or taxi, but a stroll through Samcheong-dong village to the stations would be a nice experience! Please note that there are quiet hours(11PM - 7AM) within the property, in respect to other guests and neighbors. Beers and wines are fine, but please no hard liquors in the property. There are a lot of bars nearby. Also, no alcohols in the bedroom please. We have security cameras at the main entrance/courtyard for your safety. Lastly, STAY256 is a non-smoking property.
