A Rustic farmhouse experience in the prosecco region. Your hosts are a chef and a designer, who choose to live 'the good life' and share it with their guests. Hidden in the woods, surrounded by nature, this Is the ideal place to 'escape to'. The prosecco room is ideal for couples and has an on suit bathroom with bath and shower above. Our amazing Breakfasts are served every morning either in the gardens or in the main dining room downstairs... prepared by our in house chef . Our beautiful home lies in the heart of the Veneto hills, half way between Venice and the dolomite mountains, just off the Prosecco road. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland and fields, we have free range chickens and goats as well as a fantastic vegetable garden. Our breakfasts are provided daily, with warm home made sourdough breads, cakes ,biscuits, jams, fruits, local cheeses, cereals and of course eggs. Chef Andrea is also available to cook traditional Italian cuisine or other special meals upon request. You can choose to eat with the family or enjoy a private romantic dinner alone. Spectacular terrace with breath taking views of the valley below, spacious dining room with open fireplace, gardens, 40 thousand square meters of private forest and fields. External dinning areas, private pick nick spots , sun loungers and swinging chairs. We are a also a cookery school, so let us know what you or your group are interested in doing or seeing during your stay as we're keen to personalise your experience. For example, would you like to learn to make fresh pasta and Italian delicacies or are you eager to explore The Dolomites, speed through the famous Tarzo valley cycle routes, or simply tour around the exquisite vineyards in the area - drinking and dining, we are happy to arrange the best possible schedule for you. We live in the main house and will be available to answer any questions or provide you with any additional info during your stay. Although we would love for you to spend plenty of time at our home relaxing, exploring the woods, vegetable gardens and learning to cook authentic Italian food with us; there are endless activities and sights you can see and do in the surrounding areas. Swimming in the lakes, exploring the prosecco road, hiking in the hills, cycling, cheese tasting, wine tasting, exploring Venice and the many historical towns and villages around us or in the winter skiing in the dolomites Our closest villages are Tarzo and Lago, 5 min drive or 30 min walk away. The town of Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto are just 20 minutes away by car and both have train stations from which we offer pick up and drop of service on request. A car is generally recommended to be able to fully explore all the beautiful countryside. Our house is an hour's drive from Venice ,60 minutes to Alleghe's ski area and 90 minutes to Cortina d'Ampezzo ski area in The Dolomites. Nearby traditional Italian villages include Bassano del Grappa, Revine Lago and Asolo. Further afield are the amazing cities of Verona and Trieste. This is the ideal place if you want to experience a relaxing stay immersed in absolute nature and escape from frenetic city life. We don't have a TV, but we do have many books for you to read if you whish, Andrea has guitars if you like to play and we try to grow as much of the organic food that we serve as possible. We are a small happy family that love good food, wine and laughter available to advise you on local markets, wine producers and much more!
