Cornerstone
Nestled in the foothills of the Maiella Mountains is this traditional Italian village. With 1,200 residents and at a height of 1300ft our home boasts stunning views of the olive groves below the snow capped mountains to the right and the Adriatic Sea distant to the left. It is very old house. It has 3 bedrooms with bath shower and jacuzzi. An open fire for the chilly nights and a beautiful sun terrace to rest and relax. If a quiet and authentic stay is what you want then this is it. The house is our own holiday home so is a relaxed space with all you need for your stay. It will comfotably sleep 6 . Parking is directly outside the house . Our neighbour Gianni will ensure services are available when you arrive and will be on hand if needed during your stay... We're contactable at all times by phone and phone number of our neighbour also in information pack in the house. We love Rapino becayse of its simplistic lifestyle. The locals go about their business tendung to their land and animals and are happy to pass tge time of day. Only a few speak English so a phase book or 'chirades' come in handy. You will be better to have a car so that the more remote places csn be reached whicb is much quicker than local transport. As it is our own home we are fairly relaxed and leave a store cupboard which is available if you need. In return we ask that you perhaps leave some non perishables there for the next guests. As we are not living nearby we rely on our friend Gianni who does his best to clean and prepare for guests arrival. If you could assist him by stripping the beds and leaving house cleaned on your departure it would be appreciated. Please be aware the house is old and not perfect but there is a warm welcome. Hopefully this is reflected in the price of your stay... Also for any 'townies' you may need to share your space with some wildlife as there are sometimes squirrels and ghekos on the terrace!
