Welcome aboard the Rothor, located in one of the old harbours in the centre of Rotterdam. Private access, lovely view and deck terrace! Rothor is a ship built in Amsterdam in 1931. Your boat apartment is about 45 m2. There is a semi separate bedroom (2 persons) in front of the boat. Bathroom (shower) and separate toilet are also in front of the boat. The salon is spacious with natural daylight. There are windows all around. The kitchen block is in the middle and there a plenty places to sit and relax. There is a sofa bed for 2 persons in the salon. When you open the back doors of the salon you find a lovely, furnished deck terrace. The Rothor and its back deck terrace are yours. The boat is located next to a pontoon. You will reach the boat over the pontoon. The pontoon is shared with the boat on the other side, the Animathor. Your host lives on this boat and there may be guests there . Your host lives next door and will be available for any questions. Rothor is moored in the Haringvliet, one of the historic harbours of Rotterdam, located in the centre. Next to the Rothor is the bridge to the Oude Haven (Old Harbour). In the Old Harbour you can sit and have a drink by the water. There are bars and restaurants. In the harbours, Leuvehaven, Haringvliet, Oude Haven and Wijnhaven are filled with classic Dutch boats. The area is a mix of very old warehouses, bridges, ships, bars and modern skyscraper apartment buildings. The very famous and striking Kubic Houses are just around the corner. A little bit further is the Markthal a very remarkable building, not to be missed when you visit Rotterdam! Rothor is easy to recht by public transport. Take tram 21 or 24 from Rotterdam Central Station. Stop at Blaak. You can walk to the boat in 5 minutes from station Blaak. There is a cat on the other boat and on the pontoon.
