Our comfortable family home accommodates up to 10 ppl & a baby. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and large living spaces to share delicious winter meals. Welcome to our family home « La villa des fleurs » meaning "Flowers villa" in French, due to its hundreds of flowers, tree and plants that you can find in the garden which our gardeners take care of year around. The house was build in 1883 and has been our family home since more than 30 years. It’s a very peaceful retreat in a very small village. It's ideal for big groups of family, friend to share moments and good times but it’s not a place for big parties and noise, it’s a place to share, to enjoy and relax with your loving ones! THE GROUND FLOOR: - 1 Master Bedroom + bathroom (shower + bath tub) which both offers views on the garden. - Huge living room with TV, family size dinner table (10 ppl), fireplace, workspace, music & a lot of books... - Fully-equiped kitchen with a lot of natural light - Restroom - Laundry Room with dryer THE FIRST FLOOR: - 2 double bedrooms with large size beds (one with view on the garden and one on the back of the house) - 1 bedroom with 3 single beds (suitable for adults but also teenagers/kids) with view on the garden) - 1 bathroom with brand new italian shower and restrooms. We can add babies beds in rooms on request . All the beds are brand new hotel line beds for extra comfort. THE GARDEN: - Big protected and classified 1 hectare garden with old trees, flowers, plants... - this is a very special place for us taken care of by friendly gardeners. - Visit it and try to identify the plants and flowers in family! THE POOL AREA: - The swimming pool can be heated in spring and autumn. - Security for kids: 100% automatic closing system + alarm - Indoor shower and restroom next to the pool with extra towels and accessories - umbrellas and long chairs The entire house is yours to enjoy! Neither us or other guests on the property. We are only a few minute and a call away ! Someone from the family is always available to help you if needed. We are happy to share a moment with you to talk about the house, the region, the activities to do (a book with activities around is in the house also) and share good addresses ! We speak fluent English, and also Spanish & Portuguese for our foreign travelers ! Very small french village in the middle of « Poitou Charentes », 30mn from the « Marais Poitevin », 45mn-1h from the Atlantic Ocean and the amazing La Rochelle town and Aquarium, 1h15 from the Ile de Ré (beautiful island with sand beaches and villages, a must!), 2h30 from Paris with the train, 1h45 from Bordeaux by car. 45mn from The Futuroscope by train or car, 1h30 driving from the « Puy du Fou » which was voted best theme park in the world! A car is required to move around. A hair-dresser and a doctor are accessible walking distance from the house. An amazing bakery, an other doctor, a pharmacy and post office at 5mn with a car in the village of Mougon (where we live). With a little advance notice and 5€ per person per day, we can get you everything you need for breakfast for your stay. No service but we deliver what you need (coffee, tea, chocolate, fresh bread and bakeries, jam & butter, fresh juice...) We can also make a grocery delivery for you if you order online on the Intermarché drive website : (Website hidden by Airbnb) (give us a 48h notice)
